Antonio Brown wanted for attempted murder

Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown is wanted in Dade County, Florida. He faces attempted murder charges related to a shooting that occurred outside a venue during a celebrity boxing match in May. An arrest warrant has been issued for him, requiring Brown to post a $10,000 bond and remain under house arrest.

On May 16th, a scuffle broke out outside the venue following a celebrity boxing match. Brown was reportedly involved in the incident after he punched a man, which led to a melee. Later, he took to social media to claim that someone had tried to rob him of his jewelry.

The police responded to reports of gunshots being fired. Antonio Brown was detained and questioned, but no weapon was found on him. Recent reports indicate that video footage shows Brown running toward a man he had previously punched and firing two shots at him. While I won’t pass judgment on this incident, it is essential to note that Antonio Brown has a history of controversies.

Antonio Brown:

  • In April 2018, Brown was sued for tossing furniture from his apartment window. He allegedly almost hit a toddler.
  • In February 2019, he was fined for speeding over 100 mph.
  • Sexual Misconduct Allegations:
    • On September 10, 2019, Brown was sued by his former trainer, Britney Taylor, for alleged sexual assault on three occasions. The case was settled in April 2021.
    • A second woman accused him of sexual misconduct on September 16, 2019.
  • NFL Career Controversies:
    • Brown’s time with the Steelers ended after causing tension within the organization.
    • After signing with the Raiders in 2019, he was released due to a series of conflicts, including posting a video involving Coach Jon Gruden.
    • The Patriots quickly signed him, but his tenure was short-lived due to ongoing legal issues.
    • He left the Tampa Bay Buccaneers mid-game in 2022, marking what appears to be the end of his NFL career.
