Ace Bailey Wants To Play For The Brooklyn Nets

College basketball standout Ace Bailey is eager to be drafted by the Brooklyn Nets. He is so committed to this goal that he has refused to work out for any other NBA teams. The Philadelphia 76ers were left waiting when Bailey did not show up for their scheduled workout. Reports indicated that Bailey is determined to play for the Brooklyn Nets, as he believes it best fits his NBA career.

When we consider that the Dallas Mavericks will likely select Cooper Flagg with the number one pick, the following seven teams may not be conducive to helping Ace Bailey reach his goal of becoming an NBA star.

  1. The Spurs have Victor Wembanyama, De’Aaron Fox, and Rookie of the Year Stephen Castle on their roster.

2. The Sixers have Paul George in the position Bailey is expected to play.

3. The Hornets, Wizards, Pelicans, and Jazz aren’t teams to play for if you’re serious about being an NBA Star.

Playing in Brooklyn could work.

The Brooklyn Nets should sign and trade D’Angelo Russell and Cam Johnson to the Atlanta Hawks for Trae Young. This trade works because the Hawks are unwilling to give Trae Young the full $229 million extension he wants. Pairing Ace Bailey alongside Trae Young, Cam Thomas, and Nic Claxton makes sense for the Nets.

However, before this happens. Brooklyn must find a way to move up in this year’s draft. The Wizards, and Sixers are both interested in Ace Bailey; however, sources indicate that he is not interested. This raises an important point: That NBA team owners should have the ability to decide that if Ace Bailey does not want to be part of their organization, they shouldn’t want him part of it.
