Tyrese Haliburton One Game Away From NBA Finals

Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton yells after a play against the New York Knicks

Tyrese Haliburton, the star point guard for the Indiana Pacers, had an impressive performance against the New York Knicks, scoring 32 points, providing 15 assists, and grabbing 12 rebounds. The Pacers won 130-121, taking a 3-1 lead in their best-of-seven series. After the Knicks made a strong comeback from a 20-point halftime deficit in Game 3, it was evident that the Pacers and Haliburton were determined to secure a victory on their home court for Game 4.

Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with 31 points. He dished out five assists and grabbed two rebounds. However, Brunson is easily the best player on the New York Knicks. He’s not a great facilitator. Nor the floor general that Haliburton is. Karl Anthony Towns added 24 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Meanwhile, OG Anunoby chipped in 22 points for the Knicks.

Tyrese Haliburton and the Pacers can close out the Knicks on Thursday night at Madison Square Garden. However, doing so in front of the Knicks’ home crowd will be challenging. Knicks fans are thrilled about their team’s advancement to the Eastern Conference Finals, a feat they haven’t achieved since 2000. Therefore, it’s unlikely that the Knicks will give up easily to the Pacers. This group of Knicks players is tough and gritty, and despite being down in the series, they still believe they can win three straight games.
